Artist Official SiteAnnalisa Winberg has had the privilege to perform professionally as leading soprano with opera companies, symphony orchestras and winning international competitions in many countries of the world; in Europe, North America, Central America and Russia. Her competition highlights include winning the international vocal competitions of Mantova and Ercolano (Napoli), Italy, the Loren L. Zachary Competition in Los Angeles and the Luciano Pavarotti/Opera Company of Philadelphia competition. Favorite operatic highlights include Agnes in Tchaikovsky’s Maid Of Orleans with the Opera Orchestra of New York, The Redhaired Lady in Egk’s Peer Gynt and Marenka in Smetana’s The Bartered Bride with the Weimar National Opera (Germany), Brünnhilde in Siegfried and Helmwige in Die Walküre with the Tyrol Festival’s (Austria) Ring Cycles of Wagner, Madeline Usher in the Austrian premiere of Phillip Glass’s Fall Of The House Of Usher with the Wiener Kammeroper (Vienna, Austria), Alice in Verdi’s Falstaff with the National Opera in the opera’s premiere in Guatemala, Cora in Stephen Paulus’ The Postman Always Rings Twice with the Boston Lyric Opera was recorded for commercial release, and Nedda in Leoncavallo’s I Pagliacci with the New Israeli Opera (nationally televised in Israel), as well as leading appearances with Dallas Opera, Opera Company of Philadelphia and many others. Concert highlights include featured performances with the San Francisco Symphony, the Our Common Future telecast from Avery Fisher Hall in New York (televised live in 60 countries) and a tour of Lombardia with the I Pomeriggi Musicali Orchestra of Milano, Italy, featuring the premiere of Leonard Bernstein’s Arias And Barcarolles. Annalisa and her husband, Roy Stevens, also are very active as inspirational educators across the United States with their unique AmazingVox School Residencies and are proud to have touched the lives of hundreds of thousands of young Americans across the United States. |
