Zachary Sheely
Tenor (B. F. Pinkerton)

artist Zachary Sheely is returning to Golden Gate Opera to make his debut as Pinkerton. Mr. Sheely has previously peformed with GGO singing the roles of Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi), Remendado (Carmen), and made his company debut as Yamadori (Madama Butterfly). Mr. Sheely has also performed the roles of Rodolfo (La Bohème), Alfredo (La Traviata), the Duke (Rigoletto), Canio (I Pagliacci), Luigi (Il Tabarro), Brack Weaver (Down in the Valley), the Conductor (in Pasatieris La Divina).

Zachary made his international debut in Hanzhou, China in Carmen singing both the roles of Remendado and Don Jose. Mr. Sheely, a Central Valley native and farmer, was recently featured in a story about technology and farming on NPR's California Report and Morning Edition and could be heard singing arias from La Bohème and Eugene Onegin. Mr. Sheely will be returning to California Opera Association later this year to sing the roles of Pinkerton and Alfredo.
