Golden Gate Opera - Marin County Opera

GGO is privileged to have her on our roster in GGO’s Emerging Artist Program. Recent past performances include the roles of Monica in The Medium and Fiordiligi in Cosi fan Tutte at the California Opera Institute in Fresno. Ms. Mizell has sung leading roles with SOLO Opera, Contemporary Opera Marin, Goat Hall Productions, and San Francisco Cabaret Opera. She has been a regional finalist in the National Association of Teachers of Singing artist Awards twice, an East Bay Opera League Scholarship winner, as well as the recipient of many other awards and honors. Ms. Mizell has been the class coordinator and stage director for the annual Holy Names University Opera Scenes Production for the past eight years and teaches voice privately in San Mateo County. Suzanna performed Gretel for GGO school performances in 2009, the full role of Gretel in GGO’s 2010 production premiere at Marin Center, and we are proud to have her reprise her role of Gretel for this “encore by popular demand”.
