Suzanna Mizell
Soprano (Gretel)

artist Suzanna Mizell, sings the role of Gretel in GGO's school performances of Hansel and Gretel. An accommplished performer, Ms. Mizell recently sang the roles of Laetitia in Menotti's old maid and the thief, Susanna in Mozart's le nozze di Figaro with San Francisco Cabaret Opera. In addition to traditional opera Ms. Mizell is an active performer of 20th and 21th century music.

She has sung the roles of Cathleen in Vaughn William's Riders to the Sea with SOLO opera and Goat Hall Productions, Bubikopf in Ullman's der Kaiser von Atlantis, Elida de Coty in Spoliansky's Send for Mr. Plim, Molly Bloom in McFarlnad's the Audition of Molly Bloom, and Fanferlizzy Sunny feet Schwertisk's Fanferlizzy Sunnyfeet with Contemporary Opera Marin. 

She has premiered the roles of Esmerelda in Camino Real, Tonia in El Cabellero, Lte, Uhura in Amok Time, The Narrator in the Pied Piper of Hamlin  by Mark Alburger, Brunhilde in Cats, Dogs, and Divas, and Curly's Wife in Alburger's Mice and Men with Goat Hall Productions. In addition to performing she has directed and administered the Holy Names University Opera Scenes Workshop for the last seven seasons.
